When choosing parts made from natural products, it is very important to know how it was processed and shipped as well as how safe it is for your birds.  Just because an item says it's 100% natural does not guarantee it's safe for your bird to chew on.  Many times it is during preparation for shipping that insecticides are added so is not considered part of the product's chemical make-up.  We chose to use only suppliers who could not only guarantee the safety of their products, but could also explain to us the process of how it was made and shipped.  As with all of our toys and toy parts it is up to you to know which ones are safe for your bird to enjoy.
