Here at the Parrot Asylum we love toys, especially those made from natural materials.  It is our belief that if you can get your bird chewing on an easy to shred part it will be just a matter of time before they will become interested in chewing wood and other harder toy parts.  With that in mind, we have tried to incorporate a lot of textures and natural mediums into the majority of our toys.
